Danielle Green, LICSW
I bring both the depth of extensive clinical training and a personal understanding of what it means to navigate the path toward wholeness. I accompany my clients with compassion, curiosity, and steady support as we engage in the meaningful work of reclaiming the core self and living from a more authentic, heart-centered, and empowered place.
For more than 30 years, I have worked in direct care, leadership, and supervisory roles. Throughout that time, my focus has remained the same: relationship—with ourselves and with those we love. How do we live fully, honestly, and with greater connection? How do we take responsibility for our own experience while also learning to ask for what we need? When we struggle to believe in our own worth, value, and lovability, it becomes difficult to show up authentically in relationship with others.
I spent many years studying, teaching, and supervising Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. Over the past five years, my work has expanded to include Core Self Reclamation Therapy and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). These approaches help people heal the impact of trauma, transform longstanding patterns, and loosen the old beliefs and protective strategies that keep them feeling disconnected, stuck, or alone.
For the past decade, I have also studied and practiced the therapeutic use of psychedelics as an adjunct to psychotherapy. When thoughtfully integrated, these experiences can deepen self-understanding and support profound healing in our relationships with ourselves, our histories, and the people we seek to love.
I see clients in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and via telehealth.
Over time, self-healing has allowed me to be there for others in pain and to truly know their suffering, as I have been there myself.
