Collaborative Care

Occasionally, more than one of us is the right answer. When psychiatry and therapy need to work in close tandem — or when a patient is navigating particularly complex terrain — we coordinate our care formally. For example, Mark may do the meds and Drew see the family, or provide therapy and we speak together, coordinating. Sometimes we work with case managers who will see the person in the community, or help them find work. While this was our model for a decade, when we had a large team of 14, we do it less commonly, and we are selective. When it fits, it can make a profound difference.

In our client’s words

  • "Unambiguously profound impact on my life."

You have had an immeasurable, yet unambiguously profound impact on my life and I will never forget the way you have made me feel and the lessons I’ve learned. I know I am not alone in that regard.

  • "Mark got the heart of the matter amazingly fast"

We covered a lot of areas and themes and were able to put it together in a way that made complete sense but had somehow been missed by everyone before Dr. Green

  • "Mark seems to have found the middle path between psychiatry and shamanism."

It can be the Wild West out there but Mark has extensive knowledge of these vast fields and remains wise and humble at the same time.
